My first ballgame at Nationals Park. With a telephoto lens, I was experimenting with motion and movement for the first time.

I love the first photo. The perfect baseball pose. What size lens did you use?

Thanks Laura! I used the Canon Telephoto 55-250mm.

Cool photos, nivs! Where were you sitting … (generally speaking, I mean)? That netting around the seats that border the infield bedevils me when I shoot at games … so it’s nice to get over, above, and around it sometimes.

My tickets say Section 419. It was way up there. I was using telephoto lens.

Very good. (Base-ball is a game I never understood. Worse than cricket for me)

I am clueless as well. I went because I knew I will get good subjects for photography.

They do keep changing names, and are close to Bangalore or should I say Bengaluru?

Bangalore rings a bell. Bengaluru? Nah. My grandmother was born in Jowrah, near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. I think it is now spelled Jaura. 🙂

That’s the new name for Bangalore. Dear gosh, I have no idea why they keep changing these names. What next? Back to Hindustan!

My theory is that politicians who will not improve things (as their mandate is) just change the names. They don’t fix the roads, or streets, but put a new/old name, and think people will fall into the trap… 😦
