A mysterious path, a spooky tree. Is there an adventure at the end of it?
Here is before and after shot a photo I took at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
I edited to make the scene dark and moody for this challenge. It tackled the problem of an overcast sky and too much exposure while shooting.

The photo below is also shot at Harpers Ferry. It is reflective of a metaphorical mystery.
Any large structure behind the bare branches of a tree looks mysterious instantly.
I wanted to experiment with black and white editing for this one. I like this one better.
I feel it has more eerieness to it.
