A dip in the holy water to wash your sins, to wish for a boon, or to cleanse your soul. Welcome to Nasik, a dream pilgrim destination.
In the above photos, people are immersing themselves in the waters of the river Godavari. According to mythology, Lord Rama used to bathe in this tank (Ramkund) during his stay in Nashik.
I only wished the upkeep of such a holy site would have been better. Unfortunately, there was trash everywhere and even the water did not seem inviting to me. Of course, a true devotee would not care for things like that. To them, it would be the experiencing of getting wet and feel the purity of the water in their body, mind and soul.
I wish I were swimming right now ….. 😀

I really like your processing, reminds me of film aesthetics.

Thanks. I am just experimenting with vintage looks that are washed out. Glad you noticed.
